Competitive Learning through Math Gaming

Education
Participants will work in groups to practice their math vocabulary while navigating through a coordinate grid using an original app. Prizes available for the group that first answers 5 questions correctly.

Sean Scarnecchia

Sean Scarnecchia is a Junior at Hudson High School. He is President of the High School Math Club, Captain of their Academic Challenge Team and a student Ambassador for NEOHSTEM (Northeast Ohio STEM Alliance). He and his partner Jack Hakes won the "Best High School Project" award at the Western Reserve District Science Fair in 2018 from ACCESS (Akron Council of Engineering and Scientific Societies) for this app and coordinate grid design.
